Jobby Job

Hello my lovely readers (Aarron are you out there? Tooks? Mike and Lauren?),
Here's the low down on my new jobby job:

I LOVE many of my colleagues including 2 of the other K teachers and their assistants.
I LOVE my new rug! The picture I found is super blurry, eh? The rug's called "sunny day," too perfect for me!
I LOVE many of my new kids. Including my little Scottish guy and my cuddly girls.

I LIKE all of my new kids.
I LIKE the vice principals and the principal.

I could do WITHOUT my one little friend getting angry at the drop of a dime...hiding, crawling, throwing his shoes, refusing to do his work, asking me and others to draw something for him then yelling at me/us that we did it all wrong. But so far I've done really well with him and I do deserve a cookie. Freshly baked chocolate chip please!

I could do WITHOUT my assistant working slowly on paper work, barking at me rather than talking to me, being so vague with the children and telling them what NOT to do rather than what TO DO, hating "bathroom words" and other "not for school language," and refusing to let me do anything to help her. Errrrr...my least favorite part of my job is working with assistants, esp. those who have never worked with little kids before and who have old school ways of thinking. I just want my Gretchen back!

So. That's how my work is going. And I would love to be able to go on and on about it with all of you in person/over the phone, but I know that it bores you. Only school people like to go on and on about school stuff. Tooks, if you're out there, are you up for it yet? I can't wait to see what you're like as a little guy teacher.

I always thought you'd teach middle or high school English. And I still think that you should be a stage actor. Not that I don't think you'll make an awesome childhood teacher, I just never imagined it before. Alright people. Contact me somehow. Do it.

Mucho Lovo,

MRS. JOHNSON
