What letter(s) are you??

I am so super psyched about this presenter/presentation I just came home from! The presenter's name is Jeanine Fitzgerald and she was awesome. Funny. So true. Anyhow, let's find out what your letter(s) are!

D - direct, dominant, determined, decisive, "doer," defiant ->ODD
I - inspiring, imaginative, interactive, implusive ->ADHD
S - supportive, sweet, sensitive, sentimental, supportive, stable -> ANXIETY
C- cautious, contemplative, critical thinkers, cold -> OCD, DEPRESSION

Ds and Is are bullies, Ss and Cs are victims.

I took 4 pages of notes on this and so much more! I LOVE this stuff! Another interesting thing that she found:
60 some odd % of kids said they weren't sure whether their parents loved them or not
20 ish % knew that their parents didn't love them
5 er so % solidly knew that their parents loved them

Then she found out that there are 5 ways to show/get love and not everyone shows/gets love in the same way and therefore the above statistic.

Ways to show love:
Touching
Saying "I love you" and stuff like that
Giving stuff (usually the person likes to give stuff to others)
Quality time
Service (the person loves to help)

Clearly I show love in the first 2 ways, what about you?! No seriously, what about you? Comment. Yay exciting learning! Yay improving my teaching! Yay being inspired! Yay. Yay. Yay. :)

I think that's really interesting, Missus Johnson Miller Pants.

I went to a camp whose motto was "Work is love made visible." I always thought that was pretty awesome.

I think a hot night in the sack is love made visible too.

Ok here's the run down on the three of you:
Dave is an S.
Adam is an I.
Andy is a D? With "Helper" love style.

ODD = oppositional defiance disorder
And all of those things are what CAN happen if the person is under stress for a long period of time.

I totally have ADHD!
Used to take drugs. Then figured out how to manipulate my surroundings to take advantage of my condition.

Although I have to say, I think the concept of ADD is bullshit -- I truly believe "Attention Deficit" is a part of the Human Condition, and everybody has it either a lot or a little. I really have yet to meet anybody who doesn't have a little ADD. Remember, an element of ADD is the ability to focus like CRAZY on stuff you care about. It's a choice.
