Just Some Stuff

Ok I was so on my game today -- like award winning first day of school. It was hot news. I'm really excited about my new job. So far my co-workers are awesome, my assistant is helpful, and the kids are great. I was impressed with how "with it" they were and it was nice to get to know them a little bit. Tomorrow (well actually it's later today) I will meet the other half of my classes, a whole 7 kids more in the AM class and 6 in the PM. Hopefully these kids will be cool too. So far I've already met one in each class that likes to push the boundaries, but we're cool. We shall see when I do the whole day over again a third and fourth time!
Other news: half of my pregnant friends are no longer preggers! Lisa had her baby on August 27th I believe. The new little one's named Erica. I'm hoping to go and visit them both soon, but this weekend is my Dad's birthday and Jeff and Kristen's wedding. So yea.
More other news: my new belly Dr. called and he realized that I am "special," har-har. So lucky me he wants to do a colonoscopy! I am so looking forward to that...more like dredding. Hate IVs. Hate tubes in the rear. He had better learn something by going up there, something that he knows how to fix!
Lastly, to HH: how cool is that, that you so are an I! And I totally feel ya about ADD/ADHD. I don't see you as needing meds at all, nor many of the ppl who are on them. The whole diagnosis sometimes seems like it's just that the kid isn't so great about focusing on what the teacher wants him/her to...and everyone is distractable to some extent. It's like you said, it's important to channel your attention in certain acceptable ways. Anyhoo, I just love how that description fit you so well!

I totally dare you to eat a bunch of rubber monsters a day or two before your colonoscopy.
*dying laughing* Adam you're insane!
