The Very First
Well, I've finally done it -- created this here blog. I'm not going to tell a soul about it, yet...we'll see how long that lasts. My guess is a matter of minutes when it comes to telling Jay. Then I will begin harassing him to check every post on a very regular basis and to tell me his deepest inner thoughts about the "news" he's just had the priviledge of reading. I will also, of course, be checking in on this lovely little site of mine at least five times a day, ok an hour. Esp. for comments from friends who currently do not know of its existence...
Hopefully I will often find clever, intelligent, funny things to share with whatever audience I may eventually gather. But most likely I will blog often over the next few weeks, then more sparingly as the new school year begins, finally ending with a noiseless sputter. But hell, who knows? It would be a lot easier to add pictures if I had Jay's lappy as my comp, cause it's Sony like my camera and the memory card goes right in the side. Ah well, for now I am confined to this ancient twenty pound dinosaur (purchased in my senior year of college, uber old, right?).
Ok, this boring post is coming to an end, but I am excited that I finally found the courage to try blogging for myself rather than relying on Jay to do it (bloggingfrommountaintops), although he does a superb job and is generally quite witty. Alright, as fun as this is, I am forcing myself to sign off...now, how to end it, should I always use a particular phrase? Think. Think. Think. Um...for now let's go with:
Lata Skata!

Hey Jenny,
It's Heather - Dave's (Mr Silverblood) girlfriend. Welcome to the blogger. How are you?
We have not seen you guys in what seems like forever. You & Jay should come over sometime and check out our home. You both have not seen it yet and we have been living here for a 1 -1/2 years. LOL
Hope all is well!
-Heather
